Your licence to use the app
NavOverlay is free. You may install and use it on any device you control, for as long as you like, at no cost. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no feature held back behind a purchase.
You may not redistribute a modified build under the NavOverlay name, or present the app as your own work.
The app is provided as it is
NavOverlay is offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. It is maintained by one person in their own time.
It is an accessibility convenience, not a medical device and not a safety system. Do not rely on it in a situation where a missed or delayed navigation action could cause harm. Android may hide the overlay on certain screens, and some apps block overlays entirely for security reasons.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tyler Jennings is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of NavOverlay, including lost data, lost time, or device problems. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is nothing.
Availability and changes
The app may be updated, changed, or withdrawn from Google Play at any time. There is no uptime commitment and no guarantee that a given feature will remain in future versions. Existing installs keep working whether or not a new version appears.
Donations
Donations made through the link inside the app are voluntary gifts, not a purchase of software or of any feature. They are processed by a third party platform under its own terms, and they are not refundable through NavOverlay.
Website content
The text, layout, and NavOverlay name and logo on this site belong to Tyler Jennings. You are welcome to quote or link to the site. Reproducing it wholesale, or using the name and logo to identify a different product, is not permitted.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. Continuing to use the app after that date means the revised terms apply.
